Serving at Grace Church
Serving is an opportunity to connect with others at Grace Church, as well as reflecting our culture of generosity with our time.
Most of our serving opportunities are on a Sunday, though the Alpha and Events team sometimes serve mid-week.
We operate a rota of serving 1 week in every 4 weeks.
Alpha
Welcoming, serving refreshments and taking part in group discussion.
Events
Planning and serving behind-the-scenes at our events.
Grace Sunday Club
Working with our children in one of four different groups, starting at creche age to year 6. All our kids' workers are DBS checked.
Brew Crew
Preparing and serving tea, fresh coffee and cold drinks, before and after meetings.
Sound and Vision
Setting up and operating our sound and vision equipment.
Welcome
The face of Grace Church, welcoming all who come along to our meetings.
SUPA (Set Up, Put Away)
Helping set up by putting out signs, banners and delivering storage boxes for other teams.
Youth
Working with our young people from year 7 to 13 in two different groups.
Where can I serve?
Jesus spent his life serving others: friends, family & strangers, poor and rich, old and young. We want to follow his example and serve others. We believe it’s more fun and rewarding to roll our sleeves up and get involved. It’s also a great way to make new friends!
On Sundays there are a number of teams that come together to make our meetings happen, from welcome to children team. If you settle here at Grace Church, we’d love to hear which team you are interested to serve.
Whatever your availability and wherever you are in your journey with us, we can help you find somewhere to serve that suits you! Fill in our serving form and someone will be in touch to chat things through!

For we are God’s workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.
