Some of us from Grace Church are going on a beach trip on Sunday afternoon 7th July to Avon beach, near Mudeford Quay and we would like to welcome you to join us. We will be heading down after the morning service for a picnic and to enjoy some fresh sea air, sunshine (hopefully!) and fellowship together.
We have chosen a meeting point near to several car parks, toilets, childrens play park and a coffee cabin to help make a smooth afternoon for all. We will aim to meet from 1pm but feel free to join us whenever you can.

Travel
Mudeford is approx. 1 hour from Salisbury, we are unable to provide transport but recommend car sharing with others.
Car Parking
There are various places you can park near here but on weekends it can get quite busy. The two closest car parks are - 'Avon Beach car park' or 'Avon Run Road car park', only a 2-3 minutes walk away from the meeting point. There is also a car park in Mudeford Quay or for those happy to walk a little there are some 'unofficial' roadside parking spaces in Mudeford.
Picnic
Bring your own picnic and feel free to bring excess to share with those around you. There is also a fish and chip shop , coffee cabin and ice cream van near by but warning they can get very busy on hot days.
Youth
Some of our youth will be having a paddleboarding lesson at 3pm at Mudeford Quay, led by Joe and Beth Deal. We have hired a number of paddleboards - a mix of individual boards and a couple of big boards they can share. They will have the opportunity to try both and I'm sure it will be a lot of fun! Parents are welcome to watch from the shore. The price for this is £10 per youth for 1 hour and needs to be booked in advance. Follow the link below to book your youth a space by Sunday 23rd June. If you'd like your youth to come and finances are difficult then please let Rosie know so we can help.
Please note: All children and youth coming to this event must have an adult to supervise them.
Any questions before the event or on the day, contact Rosie Donohue.
It's going to be a fun afternoon, please do come and join us!'
